The Man and I had lunch with friends last Sunday and while on our way, I saw something wacky and good fun – the Nutmobile. To be cheeky, another friend did point out that if the weiney has a wagon, why can’t the nut have a mobile. *face palm*
I made him pull over into the hotel lot where it was parked and took pictures. I even got a bit of a silly video (that isn’t quite silly enough to be worthy of sharing… its rather just dumb, to be honest).
With that bit of debauchery out of the way – I have to think: what do people think when they see someone like me knitting in public? I’m guessing the driver contracted to drive the Nutmobile (that is what its really called) feels that its no more normal to drive an SUV than it is to drive the large peanut. For me, working yarn in public is no different than how some pull out their cell phones and tap away while the person across from them at the same table does the same.
I suppose I should just be thankful that the people with their phones don’t walk up to me and take a photo… and even worse, move around to my backside to see what my plate reads.
